    Eagle Nest is a village in Colfax County, New Mexico, United States. The village is at the north end of Eagle Nest Lake, a reservoir on the Cimarron River.

    According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 5.1 square miles (13.1 km2), of which 4.2 square miles (10.9 km2) is land and 0.85 square miles (2.2 km2), or 16.76%, is water.[2]
