Friendship is located in southern Hot Spring County at 34°13′26″N 93°0′11″W / 34.22389°N 93.00306°W / 34.22389; -93.00306 (34.223845, -93.003182),[4] on high ground half a mile (0.8 km) north of the Ouachita River.
